Apogee at the Dana Hotel is the new place to be this summer. This River North rooftop on the 26th floor boasts lavish views of the city paired with a whimsical drink menu. The bar is a collaboration between the Dana and Fifty/50 Restaurant Group. Guests will experience an opulent lounge and rooftop setting with plush textiles, classic materials used in new ways to create fluted and marble clad walls with brass inlay, contrasting with the playful nature of the exterior grassy rooftop bar; the perfect backdrop for Ben Schiller’s thematic and creative cocktails. Benjamin Schiller is the master mixologist behind the drink creations, known for his lavish beverages at The Sixth in Lincoln Square and The Berkshire Room inside the ACME Hotel. Schiller's created a menu composed of fresh herbs, homemade syrups, and rare spirits. There's also a serious reserve collection, with a 25-year-old Pappy Van Winkle bottle available for $15,00 if you choose to partake.
